Matt BranchaudMatthew S. Branchaud, Esq., is a Rutland Vermont attorney dedicated to his client’s cases. Matthew S. Branchaud was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 2005. Being a Rutland native, he has an in-depth knowledge of the local community, its people, and the Courthouses around Rutland County. He has argued in front of juries across Southern Vermont, and conducted many trials in the Family, Criminal, and Civil Courts.

He began his legal career as a paralegal in Burlington, Vermont during the 1990’s, and graduated in 2004 from Suffolk Law School in Boston. Matt has worked for a Burlington Family and Criminal law office, an Evidence Professor, a Rutland insurance defense firm, a construction and personal injury firm, and helped manage a Rutland Family and Criminal Law Practice. He started his own practice in 2011 and successfully continues to this day.

Mr. Branchaud’s cases include criminal defense including Rutland, Killington and Castleton DUI cases, civil lawsuits including car crashes and personal injury cases, breach of contract claims, and he handles real estate closings for buyers and sellers, and now handles probate cases as well.
